MEDIA ADVISORY – March 14, 2008
St. Johns County is currently accepting applications for the following Board and Committee vacancies.
Planning and Zoning Agency - One (1) Vacancy
Qualifications: Must be a registered voter in St Johns County. Members must file financial disclosure.
Meeting schedule: Meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at 1:30 p.m. in the County Auditorium, 4020 Lewis Speedway.
Application Submission Deadline: March 31, 2008
Industrial Development Authority - One (1) Vacancy
Qualifications: Must be a registered voter in St. Johns County. Members must file financial disclosure.
Meeting schedule: Meets as needed on the 3rd Monday of every other month from 3-5 p.m. in Conference Room A, 4020 Lewis Speedway.
Application Submission Deadline: April 14, 2008.
Northwest Communications Tower Citizens Advisory Board - One (1) Vacancy
Qualifications: Must reside in the portion of St. Johns County bounded on the east by the westerly right-of-way of I-95; bounded on the south by the northerly right-of-way of County Road 210 (from I-95 to Greenbrier Road and its westerly extension to the westerly boundary of St. Johns County); bounded on the west and north by the County line. Seeking a civic association representative.
Meeting schedule: Meets semi-annually in the evenings in the Mills Field Office on Racetrack Road.
Application Submission Deadline: April 14, 2008.
Health & Human Services Advisory Council - Three (3) Vacancies
Qualifications: Seeking professionals from the disciplines of Health, Mental Health, Substance Abuse, or Social Services. Must be a registered voter in St. Johns County.
Meeting schedule: Meets on-call as needed during application review period and on the next to the last Thursday of each month at 4:30 p.m. in the Mental Health Conference Room, 1955 US 1 South.
Application Submission Deadline: Until filled.
Ponte Vedra Zoning & Adjustment Board - One (1) Vacancy
Qualifications: Must be a registered voter in St Johns County and reside in the Ponte Vedra Zoning District. Members must file financial disclosure.
Meeting schedule: Meets on the 2nd Monday of each month at 3:00 p.m. in the County Auditorium, 4020 Lewis Speedway.
