Patsy is a retired law enforcement officer with a MPA in Public Administration and BSP in Social Work. Her career covered serving as a Captain in Greenville, NC and later as Assistant Bureau Chief in the Communications Services Bureau with the Illinois State Police. She and her husband who retired from the Illinois State Police came to Florida to be near their grandchildren. They live in St Augustine and love all it has to offer including convenient proximity to Jacksonville, Daytona Beach, and Orlando.

I am an environmental scientist and teacher turned writer. I am currently working on a series of educational articles designed to enlighten homeowners, and others, as to how their everyday actions affect our natural world and how they can lighten their footprint on our environment. I am also working on a childrens book series which will contain environmental and life lessons for youngsters. And I'm sure at some point I'll write about the state of affairs in our public education systems. I enjoy living life, being with my family and loved ones, going to the beach and riding my bike and I believe in following your dreams and desires. Life is too short not to!
